Hey there! I'm Mike, the owner of So Cal DJ Pros, and I’m the only guy you’ll talk to when it comes to bringing your wedding entertainment dreams to life—yep, NO MIDDLE MAN here (only me and my fiance).

I’ve been passionate about music since I can remember. For an ordinary kid my age, digging through vinyls at Tower Records and watching WWF was my pastime. I was that one guy who could tell you all about the latest songs. Yeah--- I knew early on that DJing was more than just a hobby—it was my calling. I started out collecting vinyl records, then moved onto CDs and then started creating my very own Mix CDs thanks to LimeWire (remember that?!), before diving into the well-known record pools like Crooklyn Clan. My obsession with music, mixing and creating unforgettable moments was unstoppable.

Every time I would go to a family member's wedding or special event, I always took note of the DJs at these weddings. They had the same gear, the same script, and most importantly, the same lack of energy and creativity. As an aspiring DJ, I wanted to change that. So, I saved up every paycheck from my first Full Time job and bought my own gear. Fully set up in my room, I started practicing non-stop. I started to market myself as "DJ Mike the Local Wedding DJ." Eventually, I became the go-to DJ at many local venues, creating unique, high-energy wedding experiences that stood out.

Fast forward 20 years, and here I am, still absolutely loving what I do. I’ve helped hundreds of couples throw epic weddings, and I’m constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity in the industry.
